Our Story

A place to gather

Good food, beautifully made drinks and music that turns dinner into a night out — the ADDA story.

The Meaning

Adda (n.) — a place where the conversation runs long and nobody checks the time

In Kolkata’s coffee houses and on Delhi’s rooftops, an adda is where friends gather without an agenda — to eat, argue, laugh and stay far later than planned. It isn’t a place so much as a feeling: the warmth of a full table and the sense that the night has nowhere else to be.

We built ADDA to bottle that feeling. A warm, golden room for generous food, a bar that speaks fluent spice, and a stage that slowly turns dinner into a celebration. Come for one drink; stay for the story.

Three Rooms in One

Kitchen, bar & stage

ADDA changes through the evening — from an unhurried dinner to a candlelit lounge to a late-night dance floor.

Modern Indian

The Kitchen

Regional recipes from Delhi’s lanes to Goa’s coast, cooked over a charcoal tandoor and in slow-simmered handis. Plates are made for the middle of the table — order a few and pass them around.

Spice-led cocktails

The Bar

Saffron, cardamom, smoked chilli and jaggery meet classic technique. Our bartenders build house infusions in-house and keep a serious shelf of Indian single malts and champagne.

Live music & DJs

The Stage

When the plates are cleared, the lights dim. Fridays belong to live musicians — soul, Sufi and Bollywood jazz. Saturdays belong to the dance floor, with DJs until 2am.

What’s on

“We wanted a place that feels like the best night at a friend’s home — only with a better bar, and a band.”

The Room

Designed in gold, ivory & terracotta

Our palette comes straight from the ADDA mark: warm ivory walls, champagne-gold light and the earthy terracotta of a clay diya. Low lamps, deep timber and soft corners make the room feel intimate at dinner and electric after dark.

There’s a long bar for cocktails, booths for celebrating, a dining room for lingering — and a stage that brings it all together on Fridays and Saturdays.

What We Believe

The ADDA way

  1. 01

    Generosity

Big flavours, full glasses and tables you never feel rushed from. An adda is never measured in minutes.

  2. 02

    Craft

Spice blends ground in-house, marinades given time, cocktails built with care — the details guests feel even when they can’t name them.

  3. 03

    Rhythm

An evening at ADDA has a shape: a golden early dinner, a warmer middle, and a late night that finds its own beat.

  4. 04

    Welcome

Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you’ll be greeted like a regular. Bring friends; leave with more.
